How to see Auras - Exercises to Help Enhance Your Ability to See Auras
The aura around non-living objects is essentially fixed. The human aura reflects subtle life energies within the body; these energies reflect a person's health, mental state and emotions.
How many times have you said of a woman "Why does she wear that colour? It doesn't suit her at all"? How many times have you said "How beautiful she looks in that dress. The colour is just right for her"? Both times you have been reading an aura. The first woman was wearing a colour that clashed with her aura, the second woman was wearing a colour that harmonized with her aura.
How to Feel Colours and See Human Auras
Here's a simple exercise. Look at a complete stranger. Look at everything about his or her clothes. The colours, the materials they're made of. Are they tight or flowing? Look at their clothes closely from every way you know how. Now look at the face and just 'feel'. That's all. Simply use your senses and what do you get? Are you left with any impressions? You may have felt, for instance, that this person is sad, but is wearing happy colours.
How to See Your Own Aura
Now to see your own aura. Hold your hands about one foot (30cms) from your eyes against a dark background or a white wall in shadow. Spread your fingers apart and touch your left-hand fingertips against your right. Now, concentrate on visualizing energy flowing into your fingers. Hold them there together for a minute, then draw them slowly apart, keeping your eyes focused on the gradually widening space between them. You will see minute radiations of energy issuing from your fingertips, bridging the gap between your two hands. It may help if you rub your hands vigorously together before you do this exercise.
There are many techniques that might help you see human and animal auras. What do the colours of the aura say? Even if you can't yet see your aura, it can be helpful to consider how colour can affect our emotions and outlook and to think about the significance of the colour in our lives.
Red's a very physical colour. It shows force, strength, energy and passion. If you are a red person, you want to lead, not follow, be where the action is and do what YOU want to do.
Orange encourages people to enjoy life. Orange people are optimistic, self-sufficient and get bright ideas about what to do next. They think about things rather than relying on instinct like red people.
Yellow is fairly intellectual and wakes and stimulates the mind. Yellow people are often artistic or creative. They dislike routine, but like plenty of variety in what they do.
Green people are sensitive and sympathetic. They are restful to have around while blue is very caring, calming people down and making them feel more secure.
Blue people are intuitive and sensitive. They can be diplomatic and good at promoting peace and harmony in group situations. Blue people have a sense of spiritual calm about them and can oten sense what is going to happen before it does.
Nature's Colours and Human Auras
Colour is nature's own tuning-folk - a healing gift awaiting individual use. Perhaps everyone should introduce as much colour into their lives as possible and thus live in beauty, health and love.
