Guardian Angels of Children

In Victorian times, it was accepted by many that children were under the protection of their own special Guardian Angels. In the book “Angels” by Beleta Greenaway she mentions Paige as being one of the Angels caring for children. I cannot find anything on this angel but if anyone else knows of this, it would be interesting to hear.
Children have a natural faith, openness and connection to the spiritual world and this makes it more likely that they are sensitive to the presence of their Guardian Angels. Many children have invisible friends and some will report these as being angelic.
It is believed that Angels have been sent to earth to watch over us all and to protect little children.
Some Angels to call on to protect children are:
Archangel Gabriel – the Angel of child conception and also watches over those who adopt or foster children. Gabriel is said to be present at everyone’s birth.
Archangel Ariel – Angel of Nature. Archangel Ariel works with teachers and healers and helps with psychic development. Ariel’s name means ‘the lioness of God’ and may appear in the form of a lion.
Archangel Chamuel – Angel of Love. Chamuel will surround children with love and protection.
Archangel Haniel – Angel of joy will help children be happy and joyful and to express their joyful feelings. Haniel is the angel to call on to help calm children’s squabbles and spread happiness into your home
Archangel Metatron – the Patron Angel of Small Children, leads children, here on earth, and in heaven. This Angel watches over spiritually gifted children and helps with educational issues.
Archangel Michael – Angel of Protection will help protect children from harm
Archangel Zadkiel – the Angel of Mercy can help children forgive themselves when they have done wrong. Zadkiel will also help children’s studies.
We can teach our children to communicate with their Angels through talking about Angels with them and explaining how the presence of an Angel will always be loving and kind. Should a child mention feeling any negativity, this is not an Angel they feel. Gently suggest that they block that particular presence. Ask them to visualise a blue protective bubble all around them that
will only let in love and light and ask your Angels, too, for their loving protection.
Angels are not ‘magic’ and they will listen when we talk to them and they will help and give guidance and comfort. Angels will not act for us but can help us make good choices.
Don’t be reluctant to talk about Angels with your children and explain how we can all turn to Angels when we need guidance through prayer.
